4 out of 5 stars Great for young kids.   October 5, 2008

I purchased this for my 6-year old, who loved the game and was able to play it on his own (big plus!) Normally he's bored by games within ten or fifteen minutes, but we had to pull him away from this one. The best aspect of this game for me was that it was actually non-violent. The worst you see is throwing ice cream at "tanks" that shoot mint chocolate chip at you! There were also different types of play on different levels, which I think played into my son not getting bored.

The one con for this game is that it is not intense enough I don't think for older kids who are used to fighting games.

2 out of 5 stars Ok Game   August 9, 2008

The Wii version of this Spongebob game is OK. Nothing great. I should of rented it rather than buy it. The kids were done with it in a day or two.

2 out of 5 stars Just okay   June 8, 2008

Our children love Spongebob, but this game is just okay. The major drawback on it (and most of the Wii games we've purchased) is that they are advertised as 1-4 player games, when in fact, it's basically a 1 person game with maybe several small games in the main one where you can play more than 1 player. This is frustrating for a parent that may purchase a Wii game for more than 1 child--and they are expensive! I wish these manufacturers would start labeling the games more honestly; like "1 player, with some multi-player options". Disappointing.
