It's NOT fun being a waitress April 14, 2008 Dumb Blonde Reviewing (In my bed) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I completed this game in a matter of hours. Sure it's a bit repetitive at times - the whole music bit irritated the hell out of me - but it's pure fun. Betty wants to head to the bright lights, and become a star, but has no money. In order to get some money, she works as a waitress, in a jazz club. A jazz club that sells milkshakes and big sweets, and plays really bad music. You serve the customers that come in as quickly as possible, if you don't serve them quickly, they walk out. It's pretty simple. You pick up their orders ASAP (unfortunately Betty can only carry two at a time), and bring them back their drinks. It starts off with two tables, but gradually builds up to six. Each customer has a different personality, and if you don't serve them quick enough, they'll put their hands down, and steam starts coming out their ears. Especially the wolf's ears. Watch out for him! The levels are surprisingly easy to get through, I only failed three times out of 25 levels, which is so unlike me. For my first nintendo ds game I think I did pretty good. Unfortunately, when it's over, you're left really disappointed, and I don't think there's much replay value to it. Unless you're a sucker who has to get everything just right. I'm not that bad. Overall, it's a pretty good game, but get it for cheap when you do, and have some fun!
Great Fun for Betty Boop Fans January 7, 2008 Liz968 (Bridgeport, CT United States) 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
I got this game and have had lots of fun with it. This is a great load of fun as you watch the nightclub evolve as you master each level. If you are a fan of Vintage Betty Boop you'll love this game and the Art Deco graphics included!!
Don't waste your money!!!!! November 2, 2007 JC (NY United States) 17 out of 23 found this review helpful
This is a "cheap" imitation of Diner Dash, Cake Mania......!!!! It only has 25 levels that I finished in less than 2 hours!!! There is no replay value!!! I wouldn't even give 1 star rating if Amazon didn't force me to pick a rating. My rating for this is negative.
