 Case for Nintendo DS September 1, 2007

This is a solid case for the nintendo DS. And for someone who drops things a lot, that is a MUST. The only real downside was that the inside of this thing STUNK for about a month. No worries though, it cleared up. Although it has a space for storing some cartridges, it would be nice to have even more room.

Don't buy this case.
I bought it for my DS Lite. As the person who reviewed this before me stated, the latch felt funny from the start, and it wouldn't close properly unless you twisted it in a damaging manner.
Four days after I bought it, the hinge broke, my DS Lite fell out, and the top screen cracked in half.
I complained immensely to the company, and they insisted that it was my fault because I didn't close the latch properly. No duh, the design was so bad that it wouldn't close anyway.
Don't buy this case.

I bought this case when I first got my DS Lite. I knew that I would want a place to keep my games in one handy place. I took it back almost immediately. There were 3 main reasons why. First of all, I hated the way the metal felt. The latch even felt really cheap. I was expecting something nicer for the price. Secondly, one of the hinges seemed to be not quite right and you kind of had to twist it to get the case to close. It was very weird. Thirdly, as a previous review stated, it had a horrible, horrible smell. I felt bad for my pink DS lite when I put it in there. I returned it and bought a Nintendo brand case for about $5 less. I have been using that one for about 3 months now and I am very pleased with it.

the case is hard enough to protect your ds very well, but it really look like a metal box, in the inside, in the place where you put the ds is of cheap foam, and it smell like new shoes ... at least i fell my ds is very well protected
