Product Description
Olde World, a multi-million dollar vacation spot celebrating history's greatest civilizations, promises to bring jobs, fun and tourism to the tiny town of River Heights. However, the project is dogged by rumors that the creator of the park, billionaire industrialist Thaddeus Belmont, is going broke. But even large problems come to life on the eve of the grand opening of Olde World, when it's discovered that Belmont has disappeared! This game is fun. Its very easy so it can be finished quickly with no problems. If you are looking for a challenge this is not the game for you. I'm not sure if it is even possible to lose at this game.

I bought this game for my 9-year-old daughter. Her older sister & I enjoy the computer Nancy Drew games, but they are a little too hard/scary for my youngest. She really enjoyed this game -- it is perfect for the girls who want to play the other games, but aren't quite ready. It took her a few days to complete, and was just challenging enough that it kept her interested, but not frustrated.
 Not Exactly What I Expected March 30, 2008

I was really interested in a mystery type game with Nancy Drew in it, especially since I grew up on the Nancy Drew mystery books.
I guess I expected too much from this game ... like more real clues and more "sleuthing."
After fiddling around with the repetitive "games" for several hours, I decided to save the game and shut it down and couldn't find any way to save it. Most games like this have a "save" feature. The "manual" wasn't any help, either.
A couple of days later, I got back to it and it wanted to start all over again from the beginning....ugh! I haven't touched it since. I figure I'll trade it in at "Game Stop" next time I pass there.
It wasn't what I had hoped for, but children might find it more entertaining.
I'd love to see some good mind boggling mysteries, with, perhaps, Hercule Poirot or Sherlock Holmes? Even this Nancy Drew one would have been terrific if more thought had been put into it.
Apparently, it was designed for kids and not adults. Oh well. I guess I suckered in for the Nancy Drew name and the interesting picture on the box.

i was excited when Nancy Drew came on DS. this is a fun game like the other Nancy Drew games. but it does have some negatives. like it's short, Nancy probably doesn't look like you think she supposed to and you can't use your inventory like other Nancy Drew games. but otherwise it's fun and i would recommend this game to any Nancy Drew fan.

I'm a huge fan of Nancy Drew and wanted so badly to love this game. Alas, it was not meant to be. By the time I figured out some of the mini-games, (which you can beat by randomly banging on buttons) Nancy is solving the mystery and its over.
The dialogue screens become really boring with the same image flashing over and over again.
The one thing I found fabulous with this game, was that Nancy, in not so many words, told her boyfriend she wasn't giving up solving mysteries to dote and spend all of her time with him... I had to laugh... the original Nancy Drew from the 30's packed her dad's revolver, they kept that same spunk by letting the boyfriend know it wasn't always about him.
